Practical guidance about CCTV installation, remote viewing, quotations, repairs and ongoing support in Madurai and Chennai.
How much does CCTV installation cost in Madurai?
It depends on how many cameras you need, whether they are analog or IP, how far the cable has to run, how many days of recording you want to keep and how easy the mounting points are to reach. Use the price estimator on this page for a rough idea, then ask us for a written quotation with the actual figure.
How do I get a CCTV quotation?
Call or WhatsApp us with your property type and location. For small jobs we can quote over the phone. For anything larger we do a free site visit, check the coverage points and cable routes, and send an itemised quotation covering cameras, recorder, hard disk, cabling and installation. There is no charge for the visit or the quote.
Do I need WiFi or broadband to see the cameras on my mobile?
Yes, for viewing from outside the property. The recorder needs an internet connection to reach your phone when you are away. Inside the building you can view over the local network without internet, and recording continues regardless. If you have no broadband line, a 4G SIM router at the site works well, and we can set that up for you.
Can I use a 4G SIM router instead of a broadband connection?
Yes. A SIM based router is a common option for shops, farms, construction sites, godowns and turfs where a wired line is not practical. Keep in mind that remote viewing uses data continuously, so pick an adequate plan, and set the app to a lower stream quality when you are on mobile data.
How long does installation take?
A typical four camera home takes about a day. Eight to sixteen cameras across an office, apartment block, warehouse or turf usually runs two to three days, depending on cable routes and mounting height. We confirm the timeline in the quotation before starting.
Which parts of Madurai do you cover?
We install and service CCTV right across Madurai, including Othakadai, Anna Nagar, K.K. Nagar, Tallakulam, Goripalayam, Simmakkal, Mattuthavani, Sellur, Villapuram, Thirunagar, Palanganatham and the surrounding neighbourhoods, along with the SIDCO industrial estate at Kappalur. Call us with your location and we will confirm before arranging a visit.
What happens to recording during a power cut?
Without a backup the recorder stops, so nothing is captured until power returns. We normally recommend a small UPS for the recorder and router, which keeps recording and remote viewing alive through the short cuts that are common here.
Do you repair CCTV systems you did not install?
Yes. We troubleshoot and repair existing systems whatever brand they came from, including camera faults, recording problems, mobile viewing issues, cabling damage and recorder replacement.
Can you upgrade or add cameras to my existing system?
Usually yes. We check the existing cameras, recorder, cabling and network first, then tell you whether adding to it or replacing it works out better. Mixing older analog cameras with newer IP ones is often possible with the right recorder.
